@drhotchkiss And trump printing $7.4 trillion new dollars. Don’t forget that gem.

Sounds like the border isn’t that important.
5
@JD-yw7to I feel the pain too. But I also know where it came from: Trump added $7.4 Trillion to our national debt, and dumped that money into an economy that was at a standstill.
4
USA is number one.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
3
So you’d rather have no bill? You’re not concerned at all about the border? If you can’t get exactly what you want, you want the border to stay like it is?
3
@MajorLipPain so you are anti-war more than you are “fix the border”.
3
@rexkimberley9537 Yeah, YT shuts down anything they don’t like. It’s part of why Americans are so divided.
2
Transportation is an integral part of the cost we all pay for goods on the shelf. I can’t believe I have to tell another adult that fact.
2
If there are any AMC Pacers still intact, I’d love to have it.
2
@drhotchkiss what are companies with record profits?
2
@drhotchkiss If I came home with some chickens, my wife would hug my neck. Might do it.
2
@rexkimberley9537 I replied to you, but it got deleted too. YouTube is unreliable.
2
You got Biden arrangement syndrome?
1
You don’t want the border fixed unless nothing else gets funded? Sounds like you don’t really think the border is an issue.
1
You you want the border open? Is that the bill you didn’t like?
1
@rexkimberley9537 Fair question. The answer is that it is not needed according to Republicans. Trump built the wall like he promised, and Mexico paid for it so there was no way for the Dems to stop it.
1
So you actually care about not spending money, rather than fixing the border? Good to know.
1
There’s no need for an executive order. Trump built that big beautiful wall like he promised, and Mexico paid for it! There is no border problem.
1
No need to. Trump built the wall and Mexico paid for it. Just like trumpy promised.
1
Republicans wrote it.
1
So your ranking of the border ranks below your desire to not fund Ukraine’s defense against the Russian invasion? Got it.
1
No, I don’t think we are agreeing. So I don’t think there is a border problem. Trump built that big beautiful wall, and Mexico paid for it. So there’s no problem.
1
@rexkimberley9537 why did trump not build it? He said he would have it done in less than 4 years, and Mexico would pay for it.
1
Republicans wrote the bill. Most Americans know that.
1
We live in a global economy.
1
Do you not see the irony of those two sentences?
1
@twesj you said we are supposed to be world leaders. But it still has not occurred to you how you can tell if we are in fact world leaders. Think it through and get back to us.
1
@twesj Both of those require COMPARING the US economy to other economies. Look back at your first post.
1
Hey conservatives, how is that impeachment going? Joe was in the Congress a few days ago, but you didn’t impeach.
1
Get your excuses ready for November. Everyone with a college education knows that inflation came from Donald Trump printing 7.4 trillion new dollars while the economy was at a standstill.
1
@Chris-n2f9m yes, tripled. If you would like to see proof, all you need to do is look at what a new F150 cost when Trump was president. Average sales price was $52,000. Now a modestly equipped F150 costs $155,000. Everyone knows that.
1
@JD-yw7to Not completely true. Go back and rewatch the Republican debates. Both DeSantis and Haley said clearly this inflation is directly caused by trump adding $7.4 trillion to the national debt. Sorry Charlie, this belongs to trump. Same as when he dismantled George W’s pandemic response program, and less than a year later a pandemic hit. Republicans had a chance to shine by protecting us, but Trump fumbled that one too.
1
@drhotchkiss generally I agree. What is the policy that will fix that?
1
@drhotchkiss True. I am willing to listen to specific plans from non-experts, and evaluate them objectively. At the heart of this issue is that the next generation isn’t going to have it as good as I did. That’s contrary to the American Dream.
1
Yeah, people refuse to work for $7.25 an hour. Tell us, in your neighborhood what are the fast food restaurants paying people?
1
@rexkimberley9537 you are not wrong. What policies do you think would fix it?
1
@rexkimberley9537 If there are any young people reading our discussion, welder/fitter is a good profession. Trends look positive for those craftsmen experiencing higher demand and that should pull wages up too. Plus, you will learn more things than you might think. The IRA is priming the pump for increasing the amount of manufacturing in the US, and those machines don’t build or repair themselves.

What state? I can tell you who is hiring near you.
