  7.  @burnedagain6187  We seized money Iran made from oil sales. We have released it DIRECTLY to food, water, and medical vendors for humanitarian aide to the civilians of Iran. The US has not paid all that out, we just made it available to Iran to request food, water, and medical supplies. We still write the checks off of THEIR account.

The way it works is the US still controls the checkbook for that account. Iran Requests food, water, or medical supplies, and the US pays the vendor DIRECTLY. Get a better news source.
