@hawkeyeted Only someone with next to zero understanding of our political systems would believe that. What if Obama were permitted to run a third or fourth time? Bet your ash he would still be there.

Especially the billionaires. I can't believe they are being asked to pay taxes. We don't want them pissed off, do we?
6
Changing what back? They passed rules, but decided not to release them to the public. What happened to transparency? Why hide the rules of the House from the people?
3
@Beebalabeeba <<<< Swamp creature.
3
Rude for interrupting Republicans? Funny sense of manners you have.
2
So much for the transparency promise. The House passed rules yesterday, but won't release them for public review.
2
@StormchaserZA LOL. Guy does't know how it works...
2
Sorry Swab, their alignments have been clear for many years. You noticing something isn't the beginning of its existence.
2
Republicans and Ganster Rap. Now I have seen it all.
2
Why can't we read the rules package they passed yesterday? Why start off with more secrets?
1
I might be on board with this.
1
First thing they broke were the promises made to us. New rules were passed, yesterday but leadership won't make public the full rules package. So much for transparency. So much for promises. We were supposed to have 72 hours to read things before a vote. Now after the vote they still won't let us see them.
1
It didn't. Yesterday the House voted on new rules. The leadership will not let those new rules be released to the public. If you actually care, you should be raising hell.
1
What happened to the transparency? They passed rules yesterday without giving 72 hours to read, and they are still keeping some of those rules away from the public.
1
No, you don't. We could balance the budget in 2 years by taxing billionaires and billion dollar corporations properly. But BIG DOLLAR$ are in control of both parties, so that won't happen. Fox will tell you some reason to be against it, and YOU will undermine balanced budgets.
1
@nancybbailey1975 No, there are certain portions they are keeping secret. Just because you saw some, does not mean you saw it all. I am watching a Republican Representative right now try to defend the decision not to let the public see everything.
1
Calling for violence?
1
Good, someone other than me cares what is being passed. The House did not publish what they voted on yesterday, and they are keeping some parts 'confidential' today. UNACCEPTABLE.
1
And we immediately sat back down. We were promised 72 hours to read things before a vote. Not only was that promise broken yesterday, they are calling some parts of what they passed "confidential" and it still is not available to the public. None of the "We" seem to care.
1
Just the corruption by Dems? Is that your point?
1
@josemorrasge8100 Now there’s a good boy. Stand up for those billionaires!
1
@heaven-is-real capitalism did not build the interstate system. It didn’t build our military.
1
@heaven-is-real How do capitalists have a PLACE to make money? How do capitalists have access to INFRASTRUCTURE with which to make money? How can Capitalists get financing without dealing with loan sharks? How do Capitalists keep ownership of their capital assets, and not see them stolen 7 days a week? How do Capitalists get patent protection? Intellectual property rights? It sounds like you read only the odd page-numbers of your history books. Keep making a fool of yourself if you must.
1
@andy.hello.6602 using taxpayer funded roads without paying your taxes is theft.
1
@heaven-is-real It's clear to me you are against the working man. You want to shill for venture capitalists. You want to suck up to the big money. Eat sh!t, human resources.
1
And we can't read all of the rules they passed yesterday because... 'confidential'.
1
And MTG has gone full-on gangster rap. Who would have believed that Republicans would be using gangster rap on their tweets?
1
@swabby913 I am not responsible for making you feel comfortable here. Pull they cloak from your eyes and stay involved in what happens to your nation. Don't sit back and assume "the media" will do it for you.
1
Did you get to read the rules package 72 hours in advance before they voted yesterday? I didn't. And they still won't release the full rules of the House now. Why keep some of the rules secret from the American People?
1
I am upset. We were promised 72 hours to read before any votes in the House. But they passed the Rules without publishing them yesterday. Worse, they decided some parts of the rules were "confidential". Why can't we see them to verify they are not breaking more promises?
1
Seriously. She could be a James Bond villain with those pekerwreckers.
1
First action, first broken promise. We were supposed to get 72 hours before any vote to read things. They passed rules yesterday, without publishing them first. Now, they are still keeping some of those rules secret from the public. Glenn, if you care about this stuff you are going to have to do work. Demand that the rules package (full, not 1/2 the story) get released to the public on Congress dot government website. IMMEDIATELY.
1
Betty, we can't run a nation as big and as sophisticated as this with legislation that would fit on a bumper sticker. They promised 72 hours to read things. That would be fine if they had stuck to that promise. Yesterday they passed rules without the people getting to see them at all. Worse, there are parts they called 'confidential', and STILL have not been released.
1
Being a sheep is a bigger threat.
1
Not in the cranium area...
1
Gary, the House has decided that some of the rules they passed yesterday are "Confidential". We were promised 72 hours to read before a vote, but that didn't happen either. Unless you are a US Representative, YOU have not seen all of what they passed yesterday. So stop acting like you know.
1
@garyminser2746 You support the swamp? You didn't want any of those HARD fought concessions? You think transparency in Government is a bad idea? This is what is wrong with America: American voters are too lazy to hold their politicians accountable. You get a check from the gubberment every month? You posting from your Obama Phone? Get off your ash, Gary. DO SOMETHING.
1
@garyminser2746 I hope you stop supporting the swamp.
1
@garyminser2746 Well, that’s true. It seems like the majority of people who are against the swamp are only against one party or the other.
1
Meanwhile, the House is keeping 'confidential' some of the rules they passed yesterday. So much for draining the swamp. So much for getting 72 hours to read stuff before a vote. Every voter in this nation should be demanding that promise be kept.
1
They need to stand up again. In spite of the promise of transparency, the House will not publish the rules they just passed yesterday. Why start off by keeping more secrets? It makes no sense. We should be able to read everything they are doing on line.
1
Please speak up. We were promised 72 hours to read things before a vote. Yesterday the House passed new rules without any chance for the public to review. Worse, they have only released SOME of the rules they passed. Some are being treated as confidential, and not available to the public.
1
That's a funny way of saying people should work but not get paid. You a commie? Russian?
1
@u2mister17 We don't contribute? Did your generation build that Interstate? That highway? Your office building? Aircraft carriers? Are we speaking German, or Japanese here? Is this the USA, not "New Germany"? No, people before you put in the work, and left you with all these things. You ungrateful, ignorant, RED BELLIED COMMIE!
1
@u2mister17 Why did you delete your post? Feeling like an idiot? Red Belly.
1
@u2mister17 dammit. OK, here is a summary: you are wrong, I am right.😁
1
@u2mister17 I'm not up to speed on that. I am looking at the Docs Joe had.
1
@u2mister17 Right. Match those up with the ones Trump provided, and we are in big trouble.
