I’m from the deep South. We always said “a hit dog will holler.”

They know their audience is more likely to cheat on taxes.
10
If you didnt cheat on taxes, why worry?
8
@el_bronco77 Do what I do: keep your tax returns and receipts for 7 years. Nothing shuts them down more than doing what the law requires.
7
@georgieolinger-sakai8675 What about the part of you that wants law and order? How does that part of you feel?
4
@truepatriots3860 Sorry, did you just admit you didn't follow the country's laws while your screen name says "True Patriots"?
4
@winsomemartinez Sounds like you didn't save yours...
4
Are you hoping he does? Rooting against Americans?
4
Why would we do that? You won’t get anything. People earning under 400,000 annually will not be paying this tax.
4
Will that stop Trump’s espionage and sedition?
2
@mattgaetz6792 Yeah, they have no credibility after making excuses for espionage and insurrection. It shows they don't care about law, the just don't want other races in the US.
2
The founding fathers all disagreed with you. That is why they left us a republic, not a direct democracy.
2
Better yet, Mar-a-Lago.
2
@truthbeknown2022 And yet, the keep calling other news outlets "Mainstream". Have you considered why?
2
Rip Cord What are you talking about? I asked if they were rooting against Americans. Read more carefully.
2
@SDG-cv4br well well well, do you have a different opinion? I have read the entire act. have you? If not, don’t be a punk. Read it. it won’t hurt you.
2
Francisco, you’re not wrong. But you do seem to assume that other people are supposed to pay for it for you. That’s not how it works.
1
You know, police tend to patrol where the crime is. So maybe you’re right, it just seems like a weird thing for you to point out.
1
It’s enough to make people dizzy.
1
OK Terrence, put up or shut up. when Donald Trump took office the Republicans had the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate. What did they do? more to the point, are you willing to pay higher taxes to pay for it? Because if you’re not willing to pay for it You must not want it very badly.
1
@workonitm8 me too, and me too. It’s unpleasant, but part of being a proud American.
1
Let me introduce myself...
1
@KCBOBX that has not been my experience. No, people who have investments, multiple companies or LLC, Capital gains, significant business losses, offshore holdings and income are the ones that need to be worried. if you are employed at a job, you are a small fish. I am not belittling anyone who is in a small fish situation, because there is nothing wrong with that. I’m just pointing out that the inflation reduction act spends a huge amount of money, which means the IRS has got to go after the big bucks not the small fish.
1
@winsomemartinez haha, you are right. Our CPA digitizes everything, and the fees are reasonable. Still, we keep a back up in a fire proof safe for seven years just in case.
1
@pattichristmas7978 I see you dodged my question. Are you rooting against Americans?
1
@steelers4life75 I have to admit, that was pretty funny.
1
@wayned2097 Remember what we learned during Trump's riots: Behave and cooperate, that way you have nothing to worry about.
1
@chuckschenck3045 If you call people making $400,001 per year and up, yeah. It's ON!!!
1
@SDG-cv4br excellent, I’ve read the whole thing, and if you’ve read the tax section you are good. They did not hide some tax related things in other sections. I never said they weren’t going to audit people making below 400,000, in fact I have been saying anyone who cheated on their taxes in the last seven years should be worried about getting caught. What I did say is that the money is in the top 1%, and that’s where they’re going to focus.
1
@SDG-cv4br while I’m at it, gig workers probably don’t make many traceable transactions above $599.
