Liberal here. I think rioters and looters should get jail time. How do you feel about politicians who commit treason? Do they get a pass? It’s time for conservatives to wake up. Stop defending the indefensible. You’ll find you have more credibility when you do that.

Pennsylvania is struggling with crime as well. An armed MAGA went into his local dairy queen for the purpose of reinstating Donald Trump as president Saturday. I assume that he thought “the queen“ could do that.

The longer Donald Trump stays free the more lawless our society will become. The longer his co-conspirators remain unindicted, the worst things are going to get. The rule of law has been assaulted, and the assaults continue. The longer that Fox News and other inexcusable apologists continue to spin Donald Trump‘s crimes against the United States, The closer we get to the collapse of our nation. The longer that conservatives go without having the guts to hold one of their own accountable the closer we come to the abyss.

@Befree898 but it smells so good Joe! seriously though, when Donald Trump took office Republicans held the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. What we got under their leader ship were riots, looting, disastrous response to a pandemic, and breaches of national security. we had cities under siege under Trump. you guys may not remember being unable to buy toilet paper because our nation was shut down during the pandemic, but I will never forget. republicans had complete control, and they failed us. I do like cheese though.

don’t give bad advice to young women. Don’t lead them astray. Leaders have to prioritize competing problems simultaneously. leaders have to attack the biggest problems first. That would be the attack on our nations capital and our elections, and the loss of national security through stolen confidential and top-secret documents. for example, if your house is on fire don’t start vacuuming the rugs. The bigger priority has to be either saving your house, or getting your loved ones out safely.

@jeffthompson1869 bingo. When Donald Trump took office Republicans had Control of the House, the Senate, and the White House. What did we get? riots! Looting! Failed response to a pandemic! Cities and industry shut down! no toilet paper on the shelves in grocery stores! republicans had their chance to address crime and our quality of life. They failed miserably.

The truth is the only thing any human being no matter what party they are voting for can do about their biases, is to actively look for them and try their best to treat people fairly and with respect. everyone, including me fails. The current difference between Republicans and Democrats is that Democrats generally are trying to evaluate themselves and their prejudiced. They are trying to not mistreat people unjustly. communism is literally where the government seizes the means of productions on behalf of the people. We are absolutely, positively, nowhere near a communist system of government and production. if you were trying to argue that Democrats are socialist, you would have a much better shot at winning the debate. It is only half your fault that you don’t know the difference between communism and socialism. Right wing media have worked for decades to misinform their viewers. The half that is your fault is that you will not educate yourself on the difference. And it will remain your fault until you do so.
