  13.  @drewdrew7968 Which isn't what actually happened. The transcript shows that the judge pointed out to Hunter's lawyer that Hunter would still be subject to prosecution. Hunter's lawyer said that isn't what they agreed to. The judge took a short recess to see if the DOJ and Hunter could reach an agreement. They could not, so Hunter withdrew his offer to plead guilty. I think the judge is honorable as you described, but you have an inaccurate understanding of what happened.

  17.  @drewdrew7968 You may be looking at the wrong thing. What you have posted reads like a copied and pasted news report, not the actual plea agreement. A plea agreement would not contain things like: "...tried to follow up but was cut off by the judge..." Also, the plea agreement was a total of 10 pages, there was no "page 15". I have copied and pasted the case style, and you should be able to copy and paste that into your browser. Then you can read the actual plea agreement we are talking about: Case 1:23-mj-00274-MN
