Vets will now get medical care for burn pit exposure. Billions of dollars for road construction. Government can now negotiate some Rx prices. American manufacturing will get huge incentives but only if they build things inside the US. Billion dollar companies will no longer pay ZERO taxes. Some of us are REALLY HAPPY right now. Some of us have read and understood recent legislation. It should have included additional important items, but what has been accomplished will give the next Republican who occupies the White House some great things to take credit for!!!

@harlandcromartie3465 first of all Cromartie is a really cool name. Props. Second, it’s possible I’m missing your point so if my reply is irrelevant please disregard. The Covid pandemic absolutely was a disaster for businesses as well as people. There’s no doubt about that. But I think what I’m reading is concern that 87,000 new IRS agents will be auditing people including the time during Covid. I fully expect that to happen by the way. So my suggestion to everyone is to review your filings for any year in the last seven that you were concerned about. If you find it you made an error it is important that you beat the agents to the punch. You or your CPA can file an amended tax return. If you underpaid you will of course have to pay not only the amount, but also interest and possibly penalties. But if you do it before the IRS starts an audit of you, I think there’s virtually no chance of going to jail.

This us beyond belief. The Amish (and Mennonites for that matter) live a simple, communal lifestyle. They commune with their neighbors, help their neighbors, and also get help from their neighbors. They share. They expect other families in their communities to contribute based on their situation and abilities. They raise barns TOGETHER! And that they would be used as a political tool is beyond belief. The fact that they COULD BE used is baffling. These people are the closest we have to communism in our country, and Fox is still able to use them to rile up conservatives.

OldJoe I agreed with everything you said until the last sentence. Will you take time to reply to the part I disagree with? The western world IS liberal. That's why we thrived. Leaving your nation rather than conforming to religious mandates from the government is a radical leftist move. That's the main reason the Pilgrims came, no? You served your nation and cashed a paycheck that came from taxing citizens and making them pay their share of national defense. You are a retired soldier, and maybe you need medical care through the VA. Radical leftist socialists want all Americans to pay taxes and fund the medical care of soldiers. Paying retirement benefits to those who fought for us is not a Capitalist model, it is a socialist plan and program. Making people pay taxes so the fire fighters get paid is a leftist socialist program. I have never experienced my house being on fire, so I have never used the fire department. But under our socialist plan, I continue to pay taxes and fund them. I support every one of the things above that I am being required to do. You have used "leftist socialist" as a punching bag, and that leads people to all social programs are bad.

@My Channel Fox and Trump figured out long ago that if you could keep people afraid, they would be easy to confuse. Fox injects nonstop fear, panic, hysteria, the world is ending soon propaganda. All humans regardless of their political ideology are susceptible to fear. That fear keeps us from thinking clearly about the situation.

@rickyrichards7596 let me add to the valid points you have made. there are at least 100 million armed Americans including myself. additionally our National Guard has F-15s, F-16s, A-10s, and much much more. And we have not even talked about Marines, Navy, Air Force, etc. look at how Russia is struggling with conventional warfare against Ukraine. Have you seen the pictures of civilians posing for selfies next burned out tanks and armored personnel carriers? if any one of those countries you named attacked us, 99.9% of Americans would be united, armed, and looking for payback. China knows that, Russia knows that, I know that, you know that, every red-blooded American knows that. so the only logical way to defeat us is to first divide us. We got our first evidence of that with Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. don’t misunderstand, I’m not saying Russia installed Trump, I’m saying they interfered. They created a reason for us to fight amongst ourselves. And I think anybody who thinks about it will realize that’s the real danger to our nation. Being divided by foreigners who want to weaken us.

'96, do you have a problem with intimidating people who break the law??? I say that if a person will follow the law without intimidation, they didn't break the law in the first place! Your comment implies you are running a small business, and you have been cheating the rest of us by not paying your fair share. If that's the case, I hope you DO get intimidated.
