I want to live in a nation with educated people, not people who were denied education by the threat of crippling debt. So I am the opposite of a Republican.

I don't care how many people make that mistake, it is irresponsible. See, that's what's wrong with this country. People spending more than they have to buy shiny things, instead of investing in THEMSELVES so they can earn more money. Average US home price in 2023: $495,100 (Department of Housing and Urban Development) Median US household income: $74,580 (census bureau). Income to housing ratio is 0.15. Back when I bought my first house, these are the numbers: $152,500 and $38,885, with an income to housing ratio of 0.25. Do you recognize how huge the jump is from .15 to .25? Humans still need shelter, no matter how much they earn.
