@skoolwheelz9042 Yes, trumpy did. Even Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley said during the presidential debates that trumpy's printing almost $8 trillion in new dollars is what caused the inflation we have lived through.

NLR, if you are not able to see that things have changed in the last 40 years that's probably a function of your age. Things are not the same. Stop pretending they are.
2
And if you can't get that, you want others to suffer?
1
The American who wants other Americans to suffer is the kind of American we need to export to one of trumpy's sihthole countries.
1
I think you just described what Biden is doing. They don't pay them back, and it doesn't effect the borrower's credit score.
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt Our last debate fell apart. My posts were nearly all deleted. But you seemed like someone who thinks, so I encourage you to do some reading on what 'regressive tax' structure really means. 👍
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt What? How can you know you are not interested in something you don't know about? It's like someone claiming steak tastes bad when they have never eaten steak.
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt How would you know? You already intimated you don't know what regressive means, and that you don't want to educate yourself on the matter.
1
@jimdoe1694 I don’t “have” a job, I create them and employ others. I want people to be in a position to buy from me AND have their own home / start a family. I want to live in a nation with educated people, not people who were denied education by the threat of crippling debt. So I am the opposite of a Republican.
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt You seem to be hallucinating again. Maybe cut back on the Bud Light some?
1
Oh, you have representation scooter. MTG and Boebert. And you geniuses ELECTED those kinds of people. So stop claiming you have taxation without representation.
1
@votaric When you claim that revenues increased by 30%, that should immediately give you pause. You've repeated some false info. It should be obvious, like claiming that next year the NFL will allow 1,400 teams into the playoffs.
1
@wvbigcat5219 No, trumpy rang up $7.4 trillion from 2017 to 2021.
1
The casual way you siht on your fellow Americans with the casualness of a bird on a power line is shameful. You are a perfect example of a Republican.
1
LOL, sure bud.
1
@mikeyg2me Both programs are what "liberals" want to do for the people of this nation.
1
@wvbigcat5219 So now the insulin is $36? Thank a Biden voter.
1
Doing things to help the citizens you depend on for votes? Wonder why Republicans never try that? All they do is raise hell about which bathroom someone uses, and who gets to wear a dress.
1
Very likely.
1
@jocktulloch3499 100%.
1
@Fearthekrazy OK, I thought you understood some things and I was wrong. So the answer is: If you are certain this (people who put in the work to get higher education, but can't pay their loans AND buy a home / start a family) will keep happening, let's stop repeating the same mistakes. Free tuition. And those who earn / have more after trade school / university PAY MORE IN TAXES.
1
Did you struggle?
1
@ericwightman9129 I am going to ask you what your tax liability was in 2023 or 2022. I predict you did not pay enough in taxes to pay a single year for a single student. What was your number?
1
@ericwightman9129 I understand you. You suffered, so you want others to suffer. This idea of the next generation of Americans not having to struggle like you did sounds like a bad thing to you. You feel no obligation to the nation who protected your freedom, nurtured you, and provided you the opportunity to succeed. You believe these things were owed to you.
1
@ericwightman9129 Congratulations. That doesn’t change the fact that you struggled, and you want others to struggle. If you think this world is the same as when you and I grew up, then I guess there is no need to “make America great again” is there? And there’s no need for you to show me your metals son. The way you feel about your country and your countryman is obvious. You had it hard, so you want others to suffer too.
1
Fair question. What reason do you think your loans should be forgiven?
1
@deryaner35 AUTO loan? Why on Earth would you borrow money to buy a car you cannot afford to pay cash for? Autos are a DEPRECIATING asset. I don't care how many people make that mistake, it is irresponsible. See, that's what's wrong with this country. People spending more than they have to buy shiny things, instead of investing in THEMSELVES so they can earn more money. People who buy cars they cannot afford have no business giving financial advice to ANYONE. Period.
1
@deryaner35 👍 Those are questions I will try to answer. Average US home price in 2023: $495,100 (Department of Housing and Urban Development) Median US household income: $74,580 (census bureau). Income to housing ratio is 0.15. Back when I bought my first house, these are the numbers: $152,500 and $38,885, with an income to housing ratio of 0.25. Do you recognize how huge the jump is from .15 to .25? Humans still need shelter, no matter how much they earn.
