@ytrestrictedbird Remember, I am not suggesting to you how YOU should feel, I am telling you about OTHER PEOPLE. Understanding that other people don't think the same things, or have the same life experiences is a MASSIVE blind-spot for MAGA people. There will be 2 or 3 posts. 1. trumpy received 46.1% of the vote to Clinton's 48.2% in 2016. trumpy received 46.8% and Biden 51.3% in 2020. trumpy has never reached 47% of the popular vote, and THEN he did Jan 6 +4 criminal indictments. 2. The number of life-long Republican voters who are publicly swearing to never vote trumpy again is a large number.

@ytrestrictedbird 3. What many of the MAGA see as a unified homogeneous block of trumpy supporters is not homogeneous. The fact is that some are "single issue voters", and that issue is abortion. trumpy flip-flopped on abortion last week. While many MAGA do not care (e.g. the white supremecists, the fascists, the billionaires looking for more trumpy tax breaks, dumb people, and the anarchists who want to eliminate the government and install their dream team), real pro-lifers do. Trump's flip-flop is a deal breaker. They will almost certainly not vote for Biden, but they almost certainly will not vote trumpy either. Expect them to either vote 3rd party or simply stay home.

@ytrestrictedbird 4. The number of old-guard Republicans who have been burned by trumpy and MAGA is not to be underestimated. And they will be working in the shadows against trumpy. ( I mean the life-long politicians. They didn't get where they are without knowing how to play ball, and they are going to pull every string they hold to thwart trumpy.)
