  29.  @georgehenderson7783  $454 million is the disgorgement (legal term meaning hand over ill-gotten gains), and that judgement still stands. The $175 million is the BOND he has to post while he appeals to prevent the State of New York from seizing assets to pay the disgorgement while the appeal is heard. Unless he wins the appeal, he owes that $454 million. And he will not win. Remember, this is the case where he refused to hand over his business records, and he invoked the 5th 440+ times. When you invoke the 5th in a CIVIL trial, it CAN and it WILL be used against you. In trumpy's wildest dreams the best he could possibly hope for is to lose $250 million rather than the 450 mill.
