  7. Don't worry. Find a Republican State Attorney General and get him/her to bring STATE charges. DOJ and FBI can't stop a state from prosecuting a state crime. Just look what is happening to Trump in New York: The State of New York is prosecuting Trump. Why don't Republicans get off their butts and do that? Also, a President can only pardon FEDERAL crimes. They cannot pardon state convictions. Hunter could not be pardoned by Joe. Why won't Republicans DO SOMETHING?????
