It proves political advantage is more important than accountability. If that is what conservatives want, it will not surprise me. They have no honor, no principles, and no sense of duty.

  6. I think McCarthy has made a huge mistake. If they don't have a Republican State Attorney General or State District Attorney indict Hunter again, people are going to want to know why. If they don't even TRY to have an impeachment vote on Joe, people are not going to forget that. Exaggerating or lying about "evidence" is a bad idea, because we are NOT going to just forget about this.

  8. Asera, today is the 203 day the Republicans have controlled the US House. This investigation started in early 2019. Still no impeachment votes have been attempted. It is suspicious that all we see is talk.

  11. This is theater, not serious. The investigation into Hunter and Joe has been going on for 4 (FOUR) full years. They dust this off each time Trump is about to be indicted. Which is frequently, as you can see. Another indictment of Trump is coming soon. It may happen today, though we will not hear about it until Trump himself decides to announce it. Today is the 203 day that Republicans have controlled the House, but still not taken an impeachment vote.

  14. If the DOJ declines, have a STATE Attorney General or District Attorney prosecute. The feds cannot stop any state from prosecuting state charges.

  19. Most of us knew to expect this, Richard. Republicans took control of the US House 203 days ago today. If you expect Republicans to accomplish anything, don't expect them to even hold an impeachment vote on Joe. They might pass a non-binding resolution declaring Bud Light a crappy beer, or call for a moment of silence in honor of some guy who won a fishing tournament. But that's about it.
