So I read the letter from Silverman & Thompson (page 35 of the affidavit released) and specifically section (2) as you suggested. I see that Trump's attorney says: "Thus, the statute does not apply to acts by a President." First, this is the opinion of Trump's lawyer, not a court's ruling. It does cite case law, but as you know the opinions of defense attorneys do not carry weight that compares with an actual court ruling. So you can't claim a lawyer's opinion is the same as case law. It does not prove Trump cannot be charged. Second, there is no carve out that Trump could hide behind in 18 U.S. Code § 793. Finally, you need to check the news. Word is that the CIA is losing informants and agents at an alarming rate. Whoever these secrets were shared with learned that Trump's SAFE was searched, and they have started rolling up our covert operatives.

  8. Fox keeps bringing on guests that disagree with defending Trump... Karl Rove...Alan Dershowitz... The Fox News staff must be completely exhausted from working 20 hour days for two weeks trying to keep the spin machine at maximum speed. Why else would they be bringing in guests that disagree with them? Mental exhaustion, physical exhaustion, and it shows.
