Did you know that a governor who is in charge of an entire state has more resources to fight crime than a person who is in charge of just one city? All deeply red states, all republican controlled. Arkansas has a violent crime rate nearly TWICE as high as New York. In fact, 7 of the 10 states with the highest violent crime rate are REPUBLICAN controlled. You knew all this, didn't you? You just keep spreading lies on purpose. I assume that you understand how violent crime stats are gathered, who they are submitted to, and how they are made available to the general public and law enforcement agencies. So you see the results, and you see what I am pointing out to you. Do you think "what works and what doesn't" shouldn't be based on quantifiable results? Should we ignore the outcome for the sake of how individual officers feel? If you and your 35 buddies from around the nation feel one way, but the evidence from 600,000 officers says something different, why would you stick with your gut?
