I truly can’t wait!" Tucker has testified under oath that he does not believe the 2020 election was stolen. So in short, not so great.

  11. Kids in fear for their lives descended on the TN capital to use their 1A rights. Not only did repubs say "We're not gonna fix it", they asked the kids which gun they would be OK being shot with. THEN they kicked out the duly elected officials who were advocating for the kids. See, these kids will be voting age in a few years, IF they survive school.

  14. Well, the court has ruled that it is a matter of fact that Fox News lied when they said the 2020 election was stolen. That's REALLY bad news for Fox. If they thought the ruling was wrong, it seems like they would be telling their viewers as much.

  16. What some people don't realize is that school children descended on the TN Capitol to use their 1A rights. Republicans told those kids "We're not gonna fix it". Then Republicans literally asked the kids on camera ""If there is a firearm out there that you're comfortable being shot with, please show me which one it is". The kids that survive school will be voting in a few years. I would not be surprised to see TN flip from red to blue in the next 6-8 years.

  17. I used to say that, and at the time I felt good about it. My intentions were good, and I had no malice. I felt compassion and kinship with people of color. Over time I was exposed to things that made me realize how wrong I was. I was refusing to look at how life was for people who looked different from me. They have different experiences, different opportunities, different family history, different impact from Jim Crow. Their family tree grew from the soil of slavery, mine did not. But because my intentions were benevolent when I said what you just posted, eventually I saw that ignoring the current plight of minorities was wrong and negligent. Visit the National Memorial For Peach And Justice in Montgomery, AL with the commitment to read aloud just 25% of the names of people lynched in our nation. Heck, just 20% and you will physically feel something that makes you realize you had missed the point. If your intentions are good, you need to dig deeper.

But IF you want to understand- in case you actually will evaluate facts, here goes: You MUST have a general understanding of disparate impact. So look that term up. Then look at the results of the event. The outcomes were significantly worse for 1. Non-white Tennesseans, who lost their voice in lawmaking when their Rep. was expelled. 2. Non-white lawmakers- 100% of black defendants expelled, 0% of white defendants expelled. 3. There is video of a white lawmaker shoving a black lawmaker just before the vote. He was not expelled. So citizens in predominately black areas Memphis and Nashville have NO SAY about the laws they will have to live under. The results of this event clearly have a different impact on people of color, and that impact is clearly bad. When human actions (TN legislature) result in notably worse outcomes for people of a race(s), you have institutional racISM at the very least. In short: 3 lawmakers broke "decorum". 66.7% black, 33.3% white. The actions of the legislature stripped an estimated 180,000 black people of their voice in lawmaking, while only an estimated 38,000 white people were dis-enfranchised. There sure are a lot of black Tennesseans experiencing taxation without representation as a result of this action. Hence: Institutional racism.
