Seriously, what are the Republicans up to? Why not indict and impeach?
14
I agree with that. Politicians are PUBLIC SERVANTS. Not the other way around.
10
Any idea why McCarthy hasn't permitted even a single vote on impeaching Joe?
9
@JohnDoe-lc9yj Good point. The word used was for....Ugh. 🤢
6
Have an upvote. And conservatives could do that with Hunter RIGHT NOW. No delay, do it today. What are right-wingers waiting for?
6
Frankly the Republicans could hold a vote to impeach Joe NOW.
6
Yep. Remember "Russia, Russia, Russia"? That was bullspit.
4
So ARREST them in your mind.
2
Why hasn't the Republican party done anything? Whining to the voters isn't doing anything, and it is not the JOB of the voters to deal with this.
2
Eh, I don't think that proves they are not smart. What it proves is that they are being influenced by the wealthy and the billionaires who pay but do not really benefit from Social Security. Rich people give Republicans a LOT of money, and the politicians don't want to cut off those future payments.
2
No need, Trump already drained it. REMEMBER?
2
@mrwintboc He took ONE step in FOUR years?!
2
@sashadala346 You may be confusing “Special counsel” with “Special Prosecutor”.
2
@rayrainer985 True, but have you seen all the Republican congressmen talking about this mountain of evidence they have?
2
Sounds fair.
2
I misread that as "wet people". But you are not wrong.
2
I could have declassified them, now I can't.
2
Which can only begin in the House. Republicans need to hurry up. George Santos is in real legal trouble. Repubs better hold that vote to impeach before they lose another Republican Representative.
1
Why would they need to cover? Republicans won't even hold a vote to impeach. No need to cover up when the Republicans are blocking impeachment.
1
Sure! Republicans hold control of the House, and that is where impeachment happens. Any day now...
1
Do the Republicans not know that THEY HAVE THE MAJORITY in the House? They could hold an impeachment TODAY if they wanted.
1
The day that happens is the day I change my stance on some things... Any President who even suggests pardoning himself / herself better watch his six. I don't care if it is my own brother.
1
Why are Republicans unwilling to hold a vote to impeach Joe?
1
Republicans have controlled the House for 202 days as of now. ZERO impeachments of Joe Biden.
1
@AmericaLives-r2m "The video proves no one broke into the capital." LOL conservatives...
1
Maybe the Republicans don't know that impeachments must be voted on by the US House of Representatives.
1
@wordgirl6267 "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." If you read that to say it is your duty to attack your government, well I feel sorry for you.
1
@BillyColeII-dr6dk The investigation (according to the report the Congressional committee released) began in March 2019. At this pace, it will be 2030 before anything happens.
1
@rogerdodrill4733 If they are counted fairly and your preferred candidate loses, what then? I personally spent the time to read the rulings on 13 of the 60 lawsuits, the Republicans filed and lost in 2020. The first 11 I read put the Electoral college completely out of reach for Trump, but I read two more for good measure. It is clear beyond a SHADOW of a doubt that Trump lost. The rulings are public record, and available on the internet.
1
It doesn't make sense that there isn't a single Republican Attorney General who will bring state charges against Hunter. DOJ and FBI cannot stop any state from prosecuting on state law. Look at Trump: Charged by the state of New York. It CAN be done.
1
202 days of the House being under Republican control. What are they waiting for?
1
Republicans are protecting Joe. ZERO impeachment votes in the 202 days Repubs have controlled the House.
1
Republicans should investigate! And they should DO something other than just talk about all they claim to have now.
1
Republicans have had control of the House for 202 as of today. Not a single impeachment vote has been taken.
1
Trump posted a video saying go home, and the storm stopped.
1
They have controlled the house for 202 days as of now. ZERO impeachment votes.
1
SURELY the Republicans are going to do SOMETHING? ANYTHING other than just whine? Impeach? Indictments?
1
Republicans have had control of the House for 202 days now. Not a single impeachment vote.
1
My bet is that Republicans have mislead people again, and they don't actually have solid evidence of crimes. Otherwise, why not Impeach Joe and Indict Hunter?
1
Kind of odd that they have not held a single impeachment vote on Joe. None of the Republican state Attorneys General have even TRIED to bring state charges against Hunter. It can be done, just look at the state of New York charging Trump.
1
Well, if it was a Republican you KNOW the Democrats would do something about it. I can't figure out what the Republicans are waiting for.
1
That's exactly what they want you to do. Why else would they complain non-stop, but not use their authority to DO something? They want people to attack the government. It didn't work out so well for people on Jan 6, and NONE of them were pardoned. So be careful, and be suspicious. Don't fall for that crap a second time.
1
The only thing harder than finding an honest Dem is finding a Republican with the balls to hold an impeachment vote against Joe Biden.
1
202 days of Republicans controlling the House. 202 days of the Republicans not holding a vote to impeach Joe. What do YOU think?
1
Uh, about that: The Republicans were hoping you could do their jobs FOR them...
1
Can't indict a sitting President. But you CAN impeach, then remove from office. Impeachment starts in the US House of Representatives, and Republicans control that branch of government. Any day now they will finally hold a vote to impeach. Yep. Any day now.
1
Republicans promised to vote to impeach Joe "Day One" when they took over the House. It's late July, and not ONE impeachment vote.
1
Seems like if they have all this evidence, they would be holding an impeachment vote TODAY.
1
That's what I keep asking. That's the ONLY way to remove a corrupt President. Republicans control the House, but the House has not even held a single impeachment vote. What is going on?
1
The Republicans have controlled the House for 202 days. When do you think they will DO something?
1
What are the Republicans up to? What are they waiting for?
1
Get ready for the next "Whistle-blower"! This one is a LEO in Texas. Buckle up!!!!
1
@DVG-nd3qj A state trooper who filed a complaint on the Abbott administration for directing officers to throw migrants into the Rio Grande.
1
@johnmichaels4172 You got me, John. I mean how can we know if they were legally seeking asylum if they were shoved into the river? 🙄 Unless the officers who were directed to do that TELL US! Like I said: Buckle up! 😁
1
Another possibility is that the Republicans know the "evidence" they have will not stand up to cross examination. They would rather take the heat for doing nothing, than bring charges and lose.
1
Better re-read that Constitution.
1
Criminal at the top is OK? Did you forget that the Dems (and a few Republicans) impeached Trump TWICE? When are Republicans going to get to work?
1
202 days of Republican control of the House. How many impeachment votes have they taken?
1
So why don't the Republicans hold an impeachment vote? They have a majority in the House, and that's where impeachment begins. What do you think they are waiting for?
1
@stevenwiederholt7000 I have what some might call a clue. Try asking specific questions to test my knowledge, rather than asking vague questions like: do I have a clue. Warning: I will answer with verified facts, and that may hurt you feelings.

1
@jsb354 Well, Republicans might want to get it in gear. Trump has 74 Felony Charges hanging over him, and more coming. The rest of the country didn't get that message.
1
That should not stop the Republicans from holding a vote to impeach Joe. Those two things have nothing to do with each other.
1
Why didn't he do that when he was President the first time?
1
@Steve-qf8vt For sure, we MUST be more informed when we the people vote. We elected a guy who stole military invasion plans and showed them to some writer or reporter, for God's sake!
1
I think it is Trump's third indictment. There is no logical reason that the Repubs have all this "evidence" and not held an impeachment vote.
1
202 days of Republican controlled House. ZERO impeachment votes.
1
People, the DOJ cannot impeach. ONLY the US House of Representatives can initiate the impeachment of Joe Biden. Republicans control that branch of government, so any day now...
1
Republicans seem to think it is the VOTER'S job to deal with this. So yeah, when are you going to do what needs to be done?
