Only 6 that haven't been paid off, or had a family member threatened.

Uh, you are not up to date. It's down to 5 or 6. The rest of those 21 got what they wanted and joined team McCarthy.

I finally get to agree with you. Kevin raised HALF A BILLION DOLLARS from corporate donors, and that is why the Republican Party told their voters it's going to be McCarthy or nobody. There are two huge PAC's that finance most of the Republican primaries. They don't usually get along, but yesterday they sat down and negotiated a deal. This PAC stays away from these primaries, the other keeps away from some other primaries. In the end they reached an agreement and called the hold-outs. I know this because one of the PAC presidents did a presser and explained it. I assume the conversation was something like "We really want to support and help you in the next election, but we can't if this is not resolved." MONEY IS NOT SPEECH. Freedom of speech is for THE PEOPLE!!! NOT CORPORATIONS!!! Get dark money out of both parties!!!

HAHAH!!!

No, it's going to go to McCarthy soon. The PACTs that finance Republican primaries have gotten involved.

Down to six now.

It's the PACTs. There are two main PAC that finance most Republican elections. Those two PAC are not exactly twins on what it means to be a conservative, but they put their differences aside and negotiated. They hit a deal, and the agreement was to tell their politicians that either they get on board with McCarthy, or they don't get any financial help at the next election. And don't forget that McCarthy raised half a billion dollars from corporate donors. There's a reason the Republican party wants McCarthy and no one else.

You will like him again in a few months. Fox will feed you lots of things to hate Dems for, and you will forget that the price for the Speaker of the house is $500,000,000. That's what McCarthy raised from corporate donors. Welcome to the United States of Apple Computers.

Eh, I think it's about to close and McCarthy will win. Two of the main PACTS that finance most Republican campaigns have been meeting and working out an agreement. Head of one did a presser and said they were close: 'You stay out of primaries here and there, we stay out of them over there...' that sort of thing. Once that was finalized, the PACTs reach out to the hold-outs and say something like "We hope that we will be able to support you in the upcoming election, and we will if this problem is resolved." Bingo. Politicians promised payment, Party gets what they want.

But McCarthy raised HALF A BILLION DOLLARS from corporate donors. Stop acting like that's not a lot of money.
