  6. Eh, disagree. I think he has usually been surrounded by people who saved him from himself, without Elon realizing it. He jumped into this with nothing but 'friends' to help him, and there isn't anyone near him to secretly block his poor impulses. I think we are watching a true, gen-u-ine megalomaniac meltdown.

  12. For sure that $465 million dollar loan we tax payers made when Tesla was on the brink of bankruptcy played a role in that success. Liberals are the reason Tesla in its current form exists. Dems have wanted to eventually eliminate petrol autos, but couldn't until there was a viable electric alternative. Obama and the Dems loaned a frat boy money to stay in business back in 2010, so there would be viable electric cars on the market. It worked too, because Ford and GM had to get with the program when Tesla proved it could be done.
