Trump and Trump supporters threw an insurrection riot on the US Capitol in an attempt to overturn a certified US presidential election and destroy over 200 years of American Democracy.
4
Trump lost and then he lost his mind. And then a lot of his supporters lost their minds and rioted on the Capitol.
4
Nothing patriotic about throwing an insurrection riot on the US Capitol in an attempt to overturn and steal a certified US Presidential election. Just sayin'.
4
Trump supporter rioter: "But, but, but,.....what about Antifa?"
4
You mean many Trump supporters didn't want Joe Biden as president. Sorry, but Biden won and Trump lost. Yeah, I know. Democracy really sücks, doesn't it?
4
Yeah, Democracy really sücks, doesn't it?
4
The election was fairly counted. Trump just couldn't psychologically deal with the fact that he lost.
4
FYI, you can watch the Trump supporter rioters beating police officers with flagpoles with American flags on them while the video is muted, too.
4
@maurietolley9702 Maurie, sometimes you just have to learn when the argument is not going in your direction and it's wiser to just concede a point.
4
Yeah, thanks for reminding us about the American flags. Trump supporter rioters were kicking police officers and beating them with flagpoles with American flags on them. Thanks for reminding us all of that.
4
Trump lost. Get over it.
4
Yeah, lots of Americans cared about rioting in cities. That "Democrats never cared about rioting" line is a lie fed to you by Fox News and other right-wing outlets in an attempt to try to justify or downplay the Capitol Riot.
4
Your comment reminds me of Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal and her essay predicting a Romney win over Obama because Romney has so many more "yard signs" than Obama. You should read it.
4
Tell the Federal judge that when you see him in court for your role in the Capitol Riot. Let us know how it works out for you.
4
Your attempt at deflecting away from the criminal actions of Trump and his rioting supporters is really, really obvious and transparent.
4
Ashli Babbitt was a rioter and was shot while trying to help a mob of her fellow, angry, violent rioters get to members of Congress.
4
You think that the Capitol insurrection rioters didn't have weapons? Trump's rioters were armed with ax handles, baseball bats, brass knuckles, club, and hockey sticks, and they were beating police officers with flagpoles with American flags on them.
4
Trump's riot.
4
You seem to think that deflecting to George Floyd makes what Trump and Trump supporter rioters did at the Capitol OK.
4
The right wing has gone crazy with hate and with paranoid conspiracy fantasies.
4
Nope. Trump and Trump supporters tried to overturn and steal a certified US Presidential election at the Capitol on 1/6/21 but they failed.
4
A Capitol police officer entrusted with defending the lives of the members of Congress from the Trump supporter rioters including Babbitt.
4
You support a guy who threw a riot on the US Capitol.
4
A lot of Trump supporters in the riot lost their jobs and destroyed their family relationships as a result and are now facing serious Federal criminal charges. But on the bright side, Trump walked away scot-free and is now enjoying a luxurious life at his Mar-a-Lago mansion.
4
Virtually all of the +700 people arrested for the Capitol riot are confirmed Trump supporters.
4
It's pretty sad that the once respected "Law and Order" Republican Party has now turned into the "But-at-least-we're-not-as-bad-as-Antifa!" Party, isn't it?
4
Trump used the word "peacefully" only once in his long speech. He used the words "fight" or "fighting" twenty times in that same speech.
4
@bobuxman69 "1 billion dollars in damage/looting to innocent businesses. 1.5 million dollars in damage to a goverment building" I'm sorry but I don't see what price you put on an attempt to overturn a certified US presidential election and destroy over 200 years of American Democracy. How many dollars did you place on the price for doing that?
4
🙄
4
Why is it that so many of these Trump supporter rioters are revealed to have criminal records and histories of mental problems?
4
Trump lost. Bigly.
4
Time for your medications, Becky.
4
No, they tried to steal an election but they failed and over 700 of them have been arrested.
4
@shaner0328 You can't convince me because you don't have any real evidence. All you Trump supporters seem to say is that you can't believe that 81 million people voted for someone as "senile and mentally challenged" as Joe Biden. Well, I and a lot of other people can't believe that 74 million people voted for someone who is as stupid, immature, and incompetent as Donald Trump, so there.
4
How can you support Trump when he's the one who whipped up rage in his supporters about a "stolen election", and told them that if they didn't fight for him that they "wouldn't have a country anymore", and then told them to march on the Capitol? How can you possibly excuse such recklessness and stupidity?
4
This was a Trump riot.
4
By the time 2024 comes around Trump's brain will be so far gone that he will be chasing chipmunks around and around in circles in Melania's flower garden while wearing nothing but her underwear.
4
Yup he encouraged Trump supporters to march to the Capitol - just like Donald Trump did.
4
Not the ones who participated in an insurrection riot on the US Capitol.
4
@arthurfoyt6727 Babbit was a rioter who was shot while trying to lead a mob of her fellow angry, violent rioters to members of Congress who were sheltering in fear of their lives from the rioters. And don't try to tell me that a mob of angry "unarmed" rioters is not dangerous and has never killed or maimed anyone. I would like to see how quickly you change your mind about that if a mob of "unarmed" angry Antifa rioters were to show up on your house's doorstep some night.
4
Trump supporters rioted on the US Capitol in an attempt to overturn and steal a certified US Presidential election. Deal with it.
4
@SparkWah Biden defeated Trump twice in the nationally televised Presidential debates watched by millions. That's why you Trump supporters never mention the debates when you try to claim that Biden is "mentally absent". Trump tried claiming over and over again that Biden was mentally feeble and then what happened to Trump in the first debate? Biden defeated him! Trump must have felt humiliated. Trump lost the debates and the election. Deal with it.
4
Apparently you didn't watch this video.
4
Trump never offered the National Guard to Pelosi. Just another Trump lie. Trump's own Secretary of Defense (Chris Miller) debunked Trump's claim.
4
There were also rioters who were beating police officers with flagpoles with "Blue Lives Matter" flags on them.
4
@albono2359 You do know that those extremists who have been arrested and jailed for the Capitol Riot are being called "political prisoners" by some prominent Republicans such as Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, don't you? Seems that some on the right do support the Capitol rioters.
4
@HieuHoang-lr2pg Babbitt was a rioter and was a member of a mob of rioters and she was trying to enter a secure area where members of Congress were sheltering from the rioters. You would know this if you had watched the video investigation. Why are you commenting on a video investigation that you obviously didn't even watch?
4
You think that anything that Antifa rioters did justifies or excuses Trump supporters rioters for rioting on the US Capitol?
4
An FYI for the Trump supporters here concerning the shooting of Ashli Babbitt: If you watch this video investigation, you'll see several times when plainclothes Capitol police officers pull out their guns and aim directly at the protestors (see 2:42 minutes and 26:50 minutes). So, yes, even though the rioters breached the Capitol, there were still some "Red Lines" which the Capitol police were serious about enforcing in order to protect the lives of the members of Congress from the rioters. Unfortunately for Ashli Babbitt, she apparently didn't realize that the officer with the gun was dead serious about guarding the corridor when she crossed a "Red Line" and tried to bypass a barricaded door by going through a broken window.
4
It's called "treason" and "insurrection".
