Basically the ungrateful and anticapitalistic citizens wanted commie welfare. They voted in Atlee the (free stuff) Dolt, who plunged the country and their moron citizens into post war depression, all the while he was spending what little money the country had in its own nuclear bomb project. I also think this was the asshole that gave the Russians samples and plans of their Rolls Royce jet engines and other technologies, that would be later used to kill allied solders and airmen. This man was goddamn disaster for such a previously great country.
