@yoboi267 funny that's the same for me around 2016 was my last time, yeah I can't say that many people didn't get addicted, but the only reason "addiction" was a problem is societal causes, things that are only an issue because of societies expectations not actually what is good or bad for the person, for example, people on drugs tend to lose their job, not because they do something dangerous but because of random drug testing or someone reporting they smelt like weed etc, then they get fired and everyone labels them "a drug addict that can't keep a job" even though they were set up to fail,
Another thing is cost, drug addicts are known to spend all their money on drugs amd leave the rent unpaid and no food in the cupboard, well we have the law to thank for that, because drugs would be cheap as chips without the law making them so valuable for the risk and there wouldn't be people willing to use violence to protect their investments from robberies or the police Many more examples if you need
