  4. The Ferrari had worse BOP than Toyota from Le Mans on. At Le Mans, Toyota got more power and a bigger engergy tank, and then after Le Mans Ferrari got extra weight and a power reduction

  6.  @driver_18 Its just lip service. If they truly cared about the environment they wouldnt fly to miami, then go to europe, only to fly to canada a few races later. Even in the WEC they brought back tyre warmers for Le Mans. Hardly any of the Co2 F1- or another Motorsport- has anything to do with what happens at the track

  7. The car didn't have active suspension. And it was probably aero as well that caused the Senna crash, as it stalled alot

  8.  @Scottie_S  You just need to look at WEC this year. The answer is dangerously. You have cars coming out of the pits and having to do a whole lap(s) like they have damage whilst others are going full speed

  9.  @Scottie_S  Yep, totally agree. You cant get rid of something a tyre is designed to work with and expect the same results. If they are going to get rid of tyre blankets, they need to change the construction of the tyre, and let teams warm the tyres in differnt ways, like leaving them in the sun, which they also banned in WEC

  11.  @rockwellrye3403  Lets see shall we. The illegal tyre test in 2013, for which their only punishment was missing the mid season test. Getting away with oil burning, and as soon as other teams did it they got it banned. Also, a bit tin foil hat, but pretty suspicious that the FIA made the 2019 rules to basically fill in mercedes only weakness, which was their inability to follow. DAS blatantly broke park ferme but they got "special permition" from the FIA. And endless political swings and roundabouts, most recently trying to veto Andretti off the grid. Merc is the scummiest team on the grid

  12.  @OumuamuaOumuamua  Only BMW used 4 cylinders. Every other major engine provider with the old turbo cars used v6s. Ferrari, Honda, TAG porche, Alfa Romeo, Renault. And then you had the NA Cosworth DFV v8.

  14.  @F1ll1nTh3Blanks  Its about bloody time F1 teams and drivers have to try harder to achieve victory. Other than in changeable conditions and new tracks, all a team has to do is pick one of (usually) 2 strategies. Everyone moans about how the cars were piss easy to drive, and couldn't follow. These cars are hard to drive, hard to set up, and can follow. The only thing i don't like is the simplified suspension. TBH merc ( and their fans) deserve the crap i throw at them, all last year saying "were focusing on next years car" I told people then that merc has been gutted by Red Bull, and that Newey would bring something that worked well, and that Ferrari would be strong because they sacrificed all but 2 years to build the F1-75. Still best part of a second off the pace, all creamed themselves last week when they nearly beat a damaged Ferrari and Red Bull and a RB on a shit strategy. And they still only gained a tenth on the pace they had in quail. I cant wait for the inevitable 3 hours of sky asking weather merc is back every bloody weekend, instead of focusing on, i don't know, the championship battle, 2 minnow teams becoming the leading midfielders, The continued failure of AM and Williams etc

  18. The hyperstoft still exists. The tyres go from c5-c1 and they bring 3 to a event and just call them soft, medium and hard depending on the track. So the soft in silver stone might be the hard in monaco, and behind all that it will be the C3 tyre, or the old Medium. They only brought 3 different compounds pre 2019 as well.

  19.  @neddy1287  Over a normal weekend the track will rubber in anyway. Its only a issue if it rains which washes away all the rubber and on sprint weekends

  20. Depends on the compounds they bring, the track surface the car and the driving style. The Ferrari and Hass put more energy into the tyre which means they tend to do well in cold races but struggle in hot races. The Mercedes doesnt so the reverse is true. But as long as long as they can get the tyres into the operating window, then they should last longer
