  10.  @juliansmith4295  wouldn't need it. the polling is different from Canada and its a far more fairer voting system in Australia, the left wing is strongly favoured to win, it's just by how much and by how much the Greens and the independents influence that. Yes, due to Australia’s far fairer voting system, third parties and independents are much more influential and there's been a strong movement towards them as voters reject the two main parties in their preferential vote (Australia has preferential STV voting)

Until the Saudi's execute their plan of driving the oil price down and flooding the market making the oil sands unprofitable and Alberta comes crawling back LOL - Would be a shame the US wanted to drive the oil price down to to put pressure on Russia eh and thus Alberta is the side effect casualty...a real shame.

All are a factor but so is the Trumpism factor, and like in Canada, but not to the same extent, Potato Temu Trump (Dutton) did have association and shades of Trumpism, and like in Canada, tried to distance himself from it when Mango Mussolini went a bit too crazy, even for old mate Potato Temu Trump. But the public see through that. The big question is not if the left will win, but by how much, and how much the Greens and the independents, who mainly lean left, get. Labor played the political game better and Potato had weaker second party support. Even the independents are making headway into regional seats for example. Most of the Teals are just Tree Tories in reality.
