  1. My food got stolen by a kea while in NZ! They are very opportunistic and will scout you until you turn around HAHAHA. There's is a food stop near Arthur's Pass, where many kea are and there is a very clear sign stating to watch your food and if it gets stolen by kea, there are no refunds, which is fair enough HA! They literally camp on the side of the road and around that food place because they know humans with food will show up. They are VERY smart and like other birds, will teach other kea their ways too.
