This literally happened in Jamaica. Look it up 😅😂
121
Yeah, Hoser surely had this video on a release schedule but like the helicopter, he had to let the video drop now instead 😅🤣
45
A lot of creators often work on a few videos at a time. But likely he lucked out and already had it on a release schedule to release later but with ‘fresh happenings’, it made total sense to release it now early instead.
24
Recently…it’s super fresh. This video was released within 3 hours of it happening 💀 - surely Hoser had this video scheduled but let it fly and let the video drop now like helicopter did 🤣
23
@thewatch3124 Laughable. He further weakened labour law and cost Kiwis literal billions of dollars by stopping contributions to the sovereign wealth fund.
19
@blackreign673 uh….I have Iranian friends who fled Iran….their carnival rides aren’t any safer 😅
13
@Michael-lg4wz If you know any New Zealand economic history, it peaked in the 1950s, and latest late 60s 😂
9
@aydenfellerhoff3160 Yes, because they lucked out and had the most progressive government in Australian history during the 80s and early 90s while the US, UK and NZ went down the neoliberalism route and thus wage suppressed and destroyed union power.
7
@Vandelberger yes, 10 years ago. They are majority renewables now, mainly via offshore wind actually.
5
Remember Americans reading the comments, Liberals are the RIGHT WING party in every other country except yours.
4
Or how about both.
4
You're 80 years late to that idea. It's called the Bradfield Scheme and was formalised idea wise in 1938. And it will never happen. CaspianReport's video on it goes into it further. And the script for it was written by an Australian.
4
they aren't. They are licensed so not any random mentally deranged clown can get them.
3
@jacobjgleggy1854 far left? HAHAHAHA They are centralist AF. The fossil fuel companies donate to both parties equally. "Far left" but doesn't increase Jobseeker from below poverty levels, "far left" but leaves in tax cuts that mainly benefit the rich, "far left" but doesn't touch negative gearing. I got more examples. You need my glasses mate.
3
As a Kiwi: Moving to NZ from Australia for cost of living reasons is like moving from being in 3kg of cat poo to 5kg of dog poo. NZ is worse. Far worse for cost of living LOL
3
@Austtube that's literally reflected in that social commentary. It is a disgrace on the nation
2
Yeah, Hoser released this video earlier than scheduled 😅😂
2
@jemma_19988 nothing to do with it, everything to do with the historic weakening of labour law and also some Kiwi psyche, in that Australian labour union reps and lawyers state a lot of Kiwis in Australia don’t stand up for their rights when they need to. Basically it’s the toxic part of the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ mentality and not wanting to cause a fuss despite it hurting you.
2
Not they don't. Do you even know the US base near Darwin and Pine Gap?
2
The "all the animals kill you" thing was obviously exaggeration for comedic effect and I live in Australia too.
2
How is it inaccurate? I live in Australia and it is pretty darn solid.
2
 @lonnie224 like....
2
@lonnie224 burden of proof mate. Name some.
2
@lonnie224 and it was far more complex than that. They were more often employed in the trade they had experience in (you know, makes sense), and although there were harsh punishments initially, these were toned down. And also there were incentives, and often later earned remission and the convicts were often fed better than other counterparts. Not to mention for most convicts, most of their lives were spent in freedom. In a very general way and on par with the satirical presentation, hoser is in fact more accurate.
2
@lonnie224 The fact is Australia was mainly built over decades with mainly free non-convict labour. And as stated, the situation of the convicts was far more complex.
2
Housing costs sky-rocketed with minimal immigration during 2020 and 2021 due to COVID restrictions but yes, keep blaming the immigrants and not the tax incentives that created a essentially Ponzi scheme h0ser correctly alluded to.
2
 @the.parks.of.no.return sure bro.
2
It is more housing supply. Immigrants are free money to an economy, particularly one with an aging population and declining birth rates.
2
That is how government debt literally works (in an oversimplified way)
2
You're about 80 years late to that idea. It's called the Bradfield Scheme and was proposed in 1938. It'll never happen. See CaspianReport's video on it, written by an Aussie.
2
Plenty of farmers do. It is often on marginal land in which it is far more profitable to lease the land than to plant or raise anything on it. Australia produces food for 90 million people. It is one of the most food secure places on Earth. And Australian farmers are some of the most productive per [your area of measurement here] in multiple categories and crops/animals.
2
Also you might want to look into how a certain Liberal politician leased out the Port of Darwin to Chinese interests and then after politics, got a 'consultant' job with that same company. Less Sky News mate.
2
Yeah, you might wanna see what happens when there's an aging population but not enough workers to support them.
2
Show us the proof the Liberals did something.
2
@cameronnewton7053 lol what. The Bradfield Scheme is an ecological and economic nightmare. Not to mention you are aware of the true reason why the Murray Darling is dry right? Look up cotton farm water bidding.
2
@Beargamer2749  dollarydoos is a Simpson's reference. Too many boomers commenting not instantly getting the sarcastic reference.
2
It often can't grow outwards. Why? Flood plains like Western Sydney are finding out due to essentially past corruption.
2
I like how you complain about Perth's lack of culture but then in the next paragraph talk down to people who provide that culture. LOL
2
@Austtube he stated COLONIAL history for a reason and you missed that stuble joke of him displaying a picture of an Aboriginal girl with the caption 'fr?' (For real?) when he was talking about 'rights for all'.
1
It is a Simpson's reference.
1
Watch Friendlyjordies' 'Blood Water' and how powerful the cotton lobby is and the utter environmental crsis of the Murray Darling.
1
it isn't ignorant if you actually read the Aussie comments in here. That or you are in denial of all of these facts. He in fact covers it far better than other 'more serious' geopolitics channels who, for example, only touch on or downright ignore the housing issue.
1
Nice rant but as stated correctly, overseas mining interests are mainly owned by Americans and British. Farming wise, at least 86.4% of farmland is Australian owned. The biggest buyer of farmland the last few years has been Canadians. Not to mention the NSW Farmers Association has stated more overseas investment is needed or else farming will stagnate but I guess they in on it too eh?
1
They do in high frequency, high population routes. Normal passenger rail is highly cost effective for governments. HSR not so much, unless it is between high population density places
1
It's a Simpson's reference.
1
Remarkable how H0ser, who shitposts, does a more accurate summary of Australian demography and economy than a lot of so called political channels and he did it as a foreigner. What non Australian ever mentions negative gearing?
1
If you didn't notice, it is exaggerated comedy for effect. You need my glasses. I live in Australia too.
1
You know it isn't meant to be a super serious poltical science video (even though the hard information within it is actually more accuate analysis wise than many) and it's deliberately a lot of pop culture references for comedic effect - get a sense of humour. I live in Aus too.
1
Lots of fellow Aussies state it is general but rather accurate. Including me.
1
It's a Simpson's reference
