Or more it's US film trying to appeal to it's audience, screw the inaccuracy or the actual group it depicts being offended e.g. the 'white-casting' of old films, the 'white casting' of Asian films e.g. the infamous Dragonball Evolution, the Orientalism of 'Crazy Rich Asians' to appeal to Asian America and now this. Less BS US political division please.

  4.  @zekenotech  they are plenty aware, they just don’t care because of potential demographic appeal. Sometimes it goes well despite the BS inaccuracy e.g. ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, which was directed by an East Asian, with an East Asian cast, or well, not so well like this. It isn’t so much ‘white people bad’ but ‘American bad’, regardless of ethnicity.

  5.  @anonymous7434  there is a certain hypocrisy with the American left wing at times however. A classic one, that was literally called out by Johnny Harris and the New York Times right here in YouTube, all FAR from right wing, is the NIMBYism of left leaning people in zoning laws. American left wing is often socially progressive but economically conservative.
