@-Zer0Dark- that is not true at all. More it is common for ALL deaths to factor in every condition that lead to the death. this has been common practise for a LONG time, FAR before COVID. e.g. The victim having asthma made them having COVID worse but ultimately it was COVID that killed them. These are easily-researched facts available through a quick Google search.

@RandomCarrot2806 this and also pandemic stress pushing them over the edge of their already mentally-ill minds. Stress worsens already pre-existing medical conditions of any sort, mental or physical.
