  1.  @MCDONALD6969  Grow up. Here in Australia, a Band 5 nurse is paid (converted) £42,433 vs £27,055 in the NHS, or 56.8% MORE!! Gees, I wonder why the NHS waiting list is so long..... Not only that, getting more sun and better perceived lifestyle in Australia, but also better working conditions with strong unions. And in the states of Victoria and Queensland, we are actively recruiting overseas health professionals, including from the UK. And Victoria even offers relocation reimbursement of at least AU $10k (£5281). Actually supporting the nurses is not feel-good claps. IT IS PAYING THEM. Everyone's a tough talker...until you need that nurse in hospital.

  3.  @EnglishNorthern  a lot are poor. The UK has terrible statistics. As stated, a junior doctor makes 59% more in Australia. Not a typo. Not 5.9%, fifty nine percent more. Exact same position (equal to a FY1 in the UK)
