  7.  @biggeststeppa1  ‘the supply chain is built out’ - yeah, renewable natural gas, which is gas from agri waste, residential waste, construction waste, which produces 90% less methane than landfill, can use existing natural gas infrastructure, greatly reducing cost. Not to mention it is less dangerous to handle and engineer for. But RNG doesn’t get the gadgetbahn ‘high tech’ treatment.

  8. ​ @biggeststeppa1  the fact of needing to built the infrastructure as existing natural gas pipelines cannot be retrofitted for hydrogen (without significant risk of ka-boom) is a massive impediment in reality.
