*Sigh* This HEAVILY depends on geography, and how it is implemented. China implemented it poorly. But you are going to have all the dumb comments stating all green energy is uneconomcial and bad, which is FAR from the case. China was too heavily dependent on Australian highly refined coal, which has NOTHING to do with green energy. Not even suggesting all of this is bad research at best, downright misleading at worst.

Nuclear is FAR FAR FAR too expensive in capital cost, which does not make up for it's cheaper generation cost. Not to mention due to the long construction time, in order to carry over until then, countries would use fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas, which negates all the environmental benefit of nuclear too. I'm pro nuclear for the science, but unlike the nuclear fanbois, I actually know the economics. Solar is 5 x cheaper than in 2013, wind is 2/3rds cheaper than in 2015. You think it won't get even cheaper?

@davidradtke160 exactly. WSM did a poor video here. There are many China based sources even right here on Youtube he could have sourced which explains it a lot better.
