@tuckerbugeater wrong. Here in the state of Victoria, Australia, we have capped fare prices to below US $7 per day return. Including country lines. Many take those lines as it takes around the same amount of time driving. You forget about the cost savings via far less cars on country roads, meaning less road maintenance needed and the roads last longer. Not to mention the savings to the train riders, who would spend that money elsewhere, boosting the local economies. Not to mention the price point would mean more city folk take trips out to country places they otherwise would not have taken, spend money there, and thus boost their local economies. Like I have.

@ehrgeiz5649 literally more likely because tourism. Even if it’s buying something to eat from the local bakery there and nothing else.

@Stophatingjitt yeah, you got to learn how people join cults. They often don't realise.

I know a number of veterans, from WWII (NZ Army), Vietnam War (NZ Navy) and the War in Afghanistan (NZ Army, Australian Army) who all say the same thing. I know of a family whose sister died in this war. The reality hits you extremely quick of how crooked war is.

@JohnDoe-zz7on This is highly debatable, particularly due to Lend-Lease to both the British and Soviets at the time. The Japanese high command knew they did not have the logistics to invade the mainland US or Australia. The military is NOT vital to the US's existence due to geography and it being flanked by two large oceans. The US military serves only the military industrial complex first and foremost. Army Generals multiple times have requested Congress to stop producing tanks as they are not needed for operational purposes but they continue to do so and billions of dollars of tanks sit idle and rotting in warehouses. There have also been multiple US military secrets stolen from third party contractors who skimped on security. The Snowden Leaks happened because Snowden was contracted via a third party company to do the work and they skimped on security procedures. There's a solid reason why Russian and Chinese military development is all government owned.

@JohnDoe-zz7on The US government overthrew democratically elected governments like Nicaragua, Cuba and Chile. And they don't mind you knowing this as it is declassified.

@Villlxn the facts is, on most socio-economical statistics, they are still disadvantaged. You did know that during the investigations of the Global Financial Crisis, it was revealed that banks charged black people higher interest rates for mortgages, despite having the same credit score and same financial situation as comparable white people? It isn't just the "in your face" discrimination. Stop the "anti woke" ness and actually read eh.

@ehrgeiz5649 Are you more tempted to go to a place if the travel cost e.g. airline ticket, is cheaper? Yes or no? Would you go there to spend money that you otherwise would not have in that place because you weren't there? And yes, convenience - you forget about resting and not having to deal with traffic nor concentrate on your driving nor trying to find a park in the big smoke nor having to pay for parking in the city... so again - your lack of actual thinking is funny though. - The government running the service deliberately runs it at an upfront loss but makes it up in other ways, such as less transport infrastructure maintenance costs. Pretty sure it is cheaper to maintain rail tracks on a per passenger basis than a motorway

@KV1T1 do tell in a video! Or contact VICE! Of course, be anonymous if needed to protect yourself.

@ent1311 too many people like you, with the highly individualistic culture and psyche, think it is 100% self responsibility without considering the highly significant psychological things that can influence it. If you actually understood even basic human psychology, you know it never is 100% self responsibility / always in your control.

@JohnDoe-zz7on nothing because they didn't intervene because it wasn't in their immediate interest. Stop being so naive about geopolitics. All they did was wave fingers essentially.
1
@ehrgeiz5649 Now consider the whole cost of the road vs the rail for the passenger volume.
1
@nunya___ so in other words, you haven’t experienced good public transport.

Jim Browning, please work your magic to track down these scammers and expose them.

@TennisGvy the men were Chinese of Korean descent. There is a very large Korean population in China by the border.

@ywlee319 Read the Wikipedia page. It explains everything. This piece was poorly explained but to just say 'propaganda' without actually checking yourself is just as dumb
1
@theunknownguy265 or look up the Wikipedia page. Stop sounding dumb.
