  1. Meanwhile here in Australia, businesses aren’t allowed to pass on processing fees to the customer more than what it costs the businesses. And often these are already programmed into the POS terminals anyway, so neither the business or Visa / Mastercard / whoever can do dodgy things either. Don’t you love actual well balanced consumer law? Australia was the one the brought the world Steam game refunds via our consumer protection laws too. Also based upon what Louis said, gees, they rip you off over there good with those fees vs here. (It’s typically like a flat 1.1% to 1.6% fee here in Australia for Visa / Mastercard, more for AMEX)
