'No point in investing in your business because even if it works they tax away all the profits.' - you and I know when you enter a market, corporate related taxes is WAAAAAAAAY down the list of considerations as 5 or 10% less profit is still better than 0% of zero profit or revenue (and the added measure of your competition grabbing all the market share in that area). Also, unemployment payments and the degree of them have zero negative correlation with employment. In fact, the poor having more money GENERATES jobs as they spend all their money. This was literally proven during COVID.
