  1. its really funny to me to hear ' loose change ' now . as you know , we did away with our 1c and 2c coins , just out of curiosity , i decided to look up the price of the old 1c piece . thinking , you cant buy nothing for a cent these days , and its only a bit of copper ... to my shock . that useless meaningless 1c pieces , are now worth 300 dollars each .. i almost cried . i had a jar full of 1c and 2c pieces , i was mainly keeping them for the copper . but i got sick of seeing them , so i threw them out , as they were worthless at the time ... thinking back now , there had to be 100's of coins in that jar . even if it was only 100 coins, id be sitting pretty today ... so if any of you have 1c pieces ? hold on to them with your life . theyre worth heaps ....
