  1. i use to be a butcher for coles and woolies , back in the day when they actually had butchers in the store and the meat came on hooks , fresh from the abs , now there are no butchers in coles n woolies , and the meat is pre packed in cartons at a factory . its all criovac in bags ,usually packed straight away after processing the dead animals ,instead of them hanging on hooks in cool rooms to bleed out and age , which is why you get so much juice in your pans now ,and the meat basically stews instead of fries . alot of their meat isnt cow or sheep , its more bull beef and mutton . they also put alot of the cuts in that a butcher wouldnt call exceptable like the 1st cuts off chops and steaks ,and its very hard to find a pack of good meat ,which amazes me as i know theres not that many 1st cuts on things , but there seems to be alot in the packets lol so someones getting the good stuff , just not us . australia like most countries now , is sinking in a world of greed the ppl in charge , arent looking after us , they just keep taking , until theres no more to take .
