  1.  @sharg0  i have owned my own computer biz where i was lead cashier, head tech, payroll/HR for close to 25 years...preferred to train all my guys.....i am certified with about 200 certifications with HP, Dell, IBM/Lenovo, Lexmark, plus others...from consumer tablets to laptops , desktops, to commercial systems, plus POS/RPOS systems, printers, and servers etc..., i will say your answer is concise...i would have hired you...lol

  3. it creates a higher ambient temperature in the case that houses other components....its best to use an additional cooler that will help extract it from the casing, like a cooler pad.....Paul

  4.  @keenheat3335  most commonly the heat exchanger (heatsink) gets clogged with dust and at that point can hinder its efficiency of the process...unless the heat pipe becomes physically damaged and/or the sleeve bearing fan fails they can last a long time
