I admire you for doing the work out there in the parking lot I've done quite a few jobs either on gravel and concrete I like an old piece of carpet matter of fact it's in the garage right now and I've been dragging it around for years hey you know you got to do what you got to do man first losing track of stuff I get excited and it's right where I left it usually but you know till I get to that point I go on a hunt and I get excited where's the handshaking I'm high strung I'm the same way especially when I do overhead work don't worry you're not going to fall apart hey have a great day thanks for everything bye

  5. I used to rebuild my starters all the time a lot of times it's just the corroded or dirty contact in the solenoid it's not a hard fix have a great day

  7. I used to pull the starter take a set of jumper cables in my driveway and hook them up to the start and watch it roll across the ground if it was good if it wasn't I get a new one have a good day

  11. I used to rebuild starters and alternators but nowadays it's hard to find anybody that sells the rebuild parts have a great day

I drove through a stream over a concrete slab during high water my starter motor shattered inside my 72 Town and country wagon it got towed into town the next day a friend gave me a ride to the local parts store down the road in his Hudson after that I took the starter motor apart replace the brush holder which was plastic and broke apart put it back together put the starter in and fire her up and went home a happy man have a great day
