I used to use a hydraulic on Continental axles to get the bearings off then turn down the bearing and fit it to a Ford 9 in and you had heavier duty axles for when we were racing at the track this way if you got hit they wouldn't bust as quick have a good evening

I worked in a foundry an aluminum foundry for 9 years we originally used steelbolts but then we went over to stainless cuz we had the same problem and we used anti-seize it worked out great especially if we had to tear them all apart have a good evening oh by the way I use the machine molds out of aluminum casting after they came out of the foundary too it was fun I loved it might sound silly I love the fire

The old tortraumatic strikes again and that's the difference between the man and the boys oh fire bad run away boohoo come on where are you man I've used torch many of times and if you know how to use tool right it's a tool not a weapon and not somewhere for destruction but people nowadays cuz liability is scared of their own shadow hey have a good evening

What I didn't understand is why they use part torque bits and parts regular hex heads kind of confuse me a little bit have a good evening

Was it the other shop that had the hydraulic press maybe cuz that would knock it right out okay have a good evening sorry I don't mean to tell you what to do I prefer torch myself but my last shop wouldn't allow me to use it without a hot work permit have a good evening

If you're going to have some real fun take high spot blue like you used to match gears on the rear end put it in a dollar bill and fold it in half and then drop it on the shop floor wait till somebody puts it in their pocket it will be fighting to get that stuff off for weeks and they will be bluer than Blue have a good evening
1
On molds we used to use stuff that was a step up from Anti-seaze but it's expensive called Krytox I spent 19 years terrible down cleaning up rebuilding them and put them back apart back together so I made sure I used plenty of cry Krytox have a good evening

I misspoke I called the reaction between steel and aluminum dielectric it was a galvanic reaction the same thing happens between brass and steel pipe figured I'd edit myself but I couldn't get back to my comment have a good evening

I have a friend that loves to glitter bomb birthday cards and holiday cards and I'm still finding later in the house but it makes me think of her she's a wonderful person have a good evening
1
I wouldn't use it on motorcycle pipes cuz I don't want to recommend something wrong but Scotch brite blue makes a form of a disc or I call it a Tootsie roll and you can get inside a diameter and clean it up without taking away any material that's the biggest thing you don't want to take away any material on the outside of the bearing or on the inside of the aluminum knuckle have a good evening
1
I'm Frozen parts used to use rustlick you throw it a part in the bucket overnight let it soak and it will dissolve any corrosion I don't know if it works on aluminum I would hope they have something like that but I Ray did the right thing why is apologize and explain it to a little trolls and haters I have no idea hey you got the job done man and it was a bear also I got a kick at it how Jaguar was stamped on everything that was cool have a good evening
1
I used to use a sledgehammer take my molds apart cuz I used an aluminum slug so I didn't damage the steel when I use my sledgehammer at home I broke the handle off I've never put it back together again now I'm retired have a good evening
1
If I remember right it's called a dielectric reaction in exchange of electrons Ray will like that word electrons have a good evening

Hi Tommy this is Mike pressman I'm responding to your foundry comment my job used to be to keep the hot mountain metal when it hit the concrete floor from blowing up I also used to fly the big pot when it was getting cranked over so I could hit the screw with aluminum liquid aluminum ultimate aluminum in the boundary and then after that I used to be there and shake out where we break the sand up and get the cast things out it was crazy but I loved it and they were days where I swear I saw the devil standing in the corner cuz it was so hot have a good evening bye

Aluminum expanse a lot quicker than steel when you have that difference in heat conductivity that's what breaks the bond have a good evening
