@thetruerekkermum3310 , No not really... Educating is not forcing. It simply informs people of the situation so that they can make their own decisions. Nobody is forcing anyone to be gay, or banning straight people from expressing their sexual orientation...

People complain of Pride, yet pride is only there for LGBT to protest. So the quicker the system is corrected the quicker, pride will go away.

@thegreatestmage3251 , Just because there are equality laws doesn't mean it's equal and enforced. Show a country where the average female salary is equal to the average male salary... I'll be surprised if you find one, and if you do. That's is one country out of what? 195?

And it doesn't matter if it's the state or the companies. You claimed it was equal, it's not. And there is still something to protest over

And how is it right to force an opinion or belief (homophobia) on others? That would be like gay people forcing straight people to be gay. How is that any different?

@coderentity2079 , No that is just wrong and ridiculous. People have a sexuality which they themselves decide. If they realise that they are gay after seeing a gay person that is not gay people influencing. That's straight people realising, and it likely makes them happier by finding their identity. “Read science” makes you sound like an idiot. Which you probably are. And being gay in public is not forcing. Not even close...

@Gray Jedi So banning public showing of homosexuality is not oppression. Because that's what this is. The entire point is that the next generation will not now what homosexuality is...

Forcing your belief on others isn't right... Just saying. And you may argue that it's doesn't explicitly force anyone, but in practice limiting, education and such actions have the same effect. (Just my interpretation)

@thegreatestmage3251 , I get your point, but just because a majority may have voted for the government, shouldn't mean that it should force the people who don't agree to change. It's oppressing a minority. Similarly to China...

@thegreatestmage3251 , Banning education and public showings of LGBT-related material is the textbook example, of the first step of oppression. If it isn't oppression, directed at LGBT, then a public showing of heterosexual material would also be banned. Yet, that's not happening. And it may not be actively changing someone, but it limits the education the next generation will get.

@thegreatestmage3251 , The fact that homosexuality exists... That's basically what these laws have banished from education. The purpose of these laws is that the next generation won't know what homosexuality is, yet history shows that it doesn't make them any less homosexual, it makes them depressed.

The EU just presented their stance and if Hungary is unwilling to comply with basic humanitarian values, then there is the door.

@RoyalTheRebel , No but they can withdraw funding. And unless Hungary wants to face that budget deficit, they will either leave or get in line. And yes it's a major flaw, and politics sucks.
