Nobody ever expected it to.

Funny how next to nothing of the US economic growth can be attributed to the average individual. Almost all of it is tied up in major companies. And seeing as the “socialist” countries you speak of score higher in every quality of life metric, I’m not sure you are “successful”. The US economy may be prospering, but it’s people are not.

By train-ferry yes. But that service doesn’t do that, so probably a mistake in the editing.
2
Forced Russias hand. No. According to russia they don’t care about nato expansion. They’ve said so themselves.
2
@xMoac . Everybody knows Russia already has nukes in the enclave. That’s not a threat. And countries have the right to form their own alliances economic defensive or otherwise. That includes Ukraine. Russia are not within their right when they invade a country for that country exercising its right.

In a cultural and political way, Russia isn’t Europe.
2
The fact that Europe is saying no to Russian gas has little do with the Us and more to do with Russias actions.
1
@albertoestrada4320 . Whenever I want. Yeah I do that already. And do you enjoy liking your own comments?
1
“Russia just asked” no they demanded, which they can’t because it’s not in the deals. And why help Russia with its economy when nobody’s wants its economy to survive,
1
@coyote1651 I suggest you start reading. The countries buying natural gas don’t have to pay IN RUBELS.
1
You do realize AstraZeneca is a British-Swedish company. Aka, half EU. And when they wanted to export to the EU, the UK government insisted on stopping them. So, data and knowledge maybe… Helping neighbors not so much.
1
@uknewsuncut . No I just wanted to address the points that are blatantly incorrect.
1
Poorer sure. But also happier. And plenty of EU countries rank far higher than the US in most metrics. Maybe with the exception of obesity and incarceration rate.
1
Any evidence for that?
1
@crash_matix4859 . What a great argument!
1
@crash_matix4859 . And how exactly is a heatwave a consequence of the EU economy. And prices are going up everywhere, including the US Canada, and plenty of other non EU countries. So stop making claims without anything to support it.
1
How are Ukrainians nazis? You do realize you are just taking every single word that comes from the Russian state controlled media?
1
Then don’t vote for a euro friendly party then…
1
@langskeppet9887 . Great then stop complaining.
1
Nobody excepts them too… and they aren’t really trying.
1
“Help Europe” and what about Ukraine? A country that wants nothing to do with Russia, and Russia who’s committing war crimes in the country.
1
@leekh2125 . What exactly did they promise?
1
It’s not about similarity, it’s geography. And the names that some places have had for centuries. As far as the Nordic people are concerned Estonia is part of the region, a partner if you will. Just not Nordic
1
True. American greatness is based on hard work and pure capitalism. European greatness is based on reasonable work and happiness. Who gives a shit about GDP growth when it’s all in companies and the ordinary citizen sees none of it.
1
When talking about over 400 million people it sort of is.
1
@brandonscarberry8728 I am aware. But demographical changes are often fully dependant on size. A group of two behave very differently from group of eight.
1
And the sanctions have to be a consequence of the war.
1
@jasonbrittain3316 . A coherent sentence is usually easier to read.
1
Russia has been aligned with the Chinese since the communist revolution. They make airplanes together, they trade oil, they trade goods, they have military exercises together. This isn’t pushing them closer than they already were.
1
Conspiracy theory much?
1
@MW_Asura . You comment six months after the fact? And I stand by my statement. Russia has (especially since the war) actively gone against the stream and is moving in the complete opposite direction compared to the rest of Europe. They are no longer European in any other sense than having the majority of their population this side of the mountains.
1
It does work, but we don’t have remotely enough to yet.
