China has just gone thru it’s industrial revolution, while the US did more than a century ago, and I get that China still shouldn’t pump out that much, but when you consider that they are a country almost 4 times (population) the size of the US and the US did exactly the same back then, it becomes a largely irrelevant argument...

  19. On second thought, the us has reduced its CO2 emissions the most on a country basis but per person they are 2x worse than China... And per person they are not at all the world number 1 reducer of carbon dioxide. They are on of the worst...

  38.  @maxd3028 . Nobody died in that. And Germany isn’t known for its tsunami causing earthquakes… So no it is not a good example. And natural gas kills way more people thru emissions than nuclear ever will. It just so happens that Germany prioritizes not risking a few lives in Germany, over defiantly killing hundreds - just elsewhere.
