@fatherson5907 , What you said has nothing to do with what he said... And you call him uneducated?
2
If you take into account the higher expenses Americans have that danes don't have to cover to higher taxes it's actually quite equal...

And how many times larger is the US population? Go back to school and learn some math

Denmark has a higher Nobel prize per capita than the US.

Then you are an exception.

@valeriethornblade9466 , Your coverage. Exactly YOUR coverage. Just because you have good healthcare doesn't mean everybody else does.

Showing facts has nothing to do with support or patriotism. The video was made to disprove someone's false claims, it has nothing to do with supporting or not supporting a country.

That's how welfare works my friend. It's basically a huge insurance that everybody pays and everybody takes out of. And the theory of you being paid to go to school is that you will get a higher degree, a higher paying job which you will tax more on giving that money back to the government. You are an investment,

The problem is that for lower class households it's often better if their children don't proceed to higher education and instead get to work earlier. By effectively subsidizing education more people can afford and want to go to university. And a university degree (often) automatically turns a lower class person into middle class. And those jobs that don't require a university degree are often but not always filled by people with no motivation. The whole system basically means anyone can get educated in anything no matter of economic background. Instead motivation and talent rules who goes and who doesn't.

@fatherson5907 , You say things yet you have no source to back it up... In Denmark people are actually educated in finding factual information from trustable sources...

@fatherson5907 , A proper link...

@fatherson5907 , Thats not a proper link… What are you? From the 1800’s..

@tjones5719 , Sure, but in Danmark there are alternatives to cars, cars aren't mandatory and subsidies and such make public transit a very lucrative option. Then you have the state controlling rent. Sure it won't cover the tax hike, but that difference in tax rate is far smaller when you take into account the quality of living and what that added tax rate covers.
1
@tjones5719 , I'll presume you are not danish, so I don't see how you can speak for the quality of living here. Secondly those taxes that “limit freedom” are taxes that don't limit freedom but rather encourage certain behaviors. The tax on cars is there because of climate goals and car-free cities make citizens healthier and costs society less since car infrastructure takes up public space and is very expensive. If if you want to help kill the planet, then you will have to pay the premium. And sorry but it's so American to say that a car is linked with freedom. Sure it brings the freedom to go where you want but so does a bike and a train. If citizens don't like these taxes they would have said so and voted for a party that was against them. So with all do respect, (presuming you are not danish) who are you to say how the danish people want to live? And rent control is there because as a society we value that all people are happy, not a select few.

That's the US for you...

For it to be propaganda it has to be untrue...

@sled_dog_gaming3566 , Sure but in the US a serious surgery can put you 200 thousand dollars in debt. And universal healthcare is not socialist, it's equality. People shouldn't have to die or suffer just because they can't pay.
