  3.  @Teh_Duck  Russia is very good at customising propaganda to appeal to extremists on both ends. On the right, it's all about simping for autocrats and Putin as a rugged manly man of action, and usually heavily laced with homophobia and transphobia. (Never mind that the manly army of toxic-male rapists that Russia deploys is quite crap at actual combat.) On the left, it's a combination of "I'm on whatever side the US is not on.", a deranged belief that Russia is somehow still communist rather than being more of a capitalist dystopia than the US, and an assortment of conspiracy theories about proxy wars, biolabs and Hunter Biden.

It's the same contemptible crap about Russians believing their country has never fought a war of aggression, due to the prolific use of false flags and defending "ethnic Russians" who didn't actually want to be defended.
