I don't. No matter why he did it, the man is a traitor, he chose to be a traitor, and he put the lives of good people at risk. Make an example of him, and demonstrate what awaits dirty traitors.

@davidgray8089 "Whataboutism" is a Soviet-pioneered propaganda technique, whereas cricitisms are not answered directly, but distracted from by pointing out something that somebody else did. Whether the counter-accusation is actually relevant or stands up to criticism is not important, the intent is only to divert the attention of the audience.

@harrietharlow9929 Conspiracy theorists really can live in an alternate reality, and that's something Russia pushes with their fire hose of conspiracy theories and wild claims. They're not trying to present a coherent rebuttal, they're trying to throw out so many lies and counter-claims that nobody can tell what's true and what's not.

There is no bothsides here, the Republicans long ago claimed the monopoly on treacherous craziness, and the mythical "good Republicans" have been extremely negligent in shutting down the crazies. The only real question for any given Republican is if they're a useful idiot, or one of Putin's People, bought and paid for.

@transilvlad Sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice. If anything, the lack of ideology in what he did makes him even more despicable.
