@geofwassell How dare we hold the Tories to account on their callous and inept handling of the pandemic. How dare we demand justice for those who died needlessly. How dare we demand justice for the dodgy PPE contracts to the Oxford Chums that cost us billions. How dare we be repulsed by language like "they were going to die anyway".

@geofwassell To say that we can't hold our leaders to account because of a crisis is silly. There's always going to be a crisis somewhere. The pandemic showed systematic flaws within the government and massive incompetence among many people who still hold office, yet you think if those errors stay unexamined and uncorrected, then they'll deal with a new crisis better than that one? That's very naive. Also, there's a difference between "mistakes" and "malicious incompetence and cronyism".

@geofwassell We can do both, and to argue that corruption should be swept under the rug because of some vague "terrorism" threat that will never entirely be dealt with is...ultra convenient for the corrupt and those who wish to cover up that corruption.

@benahaus How about voting for the party that isn't a fanatic cult of Russia-loving traitors and insurrectionists?

@Kim-J312 No, the Vichy party.

@AlexKarasev Revisionist nonsense. The then president defied the will of the people and his own promises to try and make his country a Russian puppet. When people protested, he murdered and disappeared them. Then they kicked him out, sent him running back to his Moscow sugar daddy, and then had new elections.

The idea of being a lifelong voter for any party is profoundly anti-democratic.

@traumvonhaiti Anyone who wants to be Russian can go to Russia. But they don't, probably because they know what it's actually like.
