  1.  @scratchy996  Authoritarian regimes always fall prey to the same vice, as Russia (the most successful of them until recently, and a net exporter of autocracy) is demonstrating. Sooner or later, the leader starts to believe his own publicity and all the little lies that build up in the name of "don't give the boss bad news" come home to roost.
