It's probably because of the Kharkiv offensive. That too required a lot of setup and grinding, but the Western media only started paying attention when it began to move quickly.

@j.erickson8571 Russia was destroyed in 1917, and 1991. Anyway, a frozen conflict solves nothing and just kicks the can down the road until Russia comes back for the rest. Putin told you that loud and clear in Chechnya, but it seems that you chose not to listen.

@alwaysdisputin9930 Freedom of speech means you can't be arrested for what you say. It doesn't protect you from criticism or mockery, and it doesn't oblige a person or company to give you a platform. Surprisingly few people understand this.

Remember to keep track of how MUCH money is being sent to Ukraine, because it's probably far less than you / they think, and far more money has gone to far less worthy causes. For example, in the UK, the catastrophically bad "mini-budget of Liz Truss" cost the country twice as much money as we've sent to Ukraine.
