  4.  @S0ulinth3machin3  In both those cases, the invaders were counting on a quick strike to grab crucial cities and force a surrender, so didn't have proper logistics set up for their armies. Russia didn't succeed in either case--the invaders failed through not planning properly and underestimating Russia's willingness to sacrifice millions of their own.
