@mqb3gofjzkko7nzx38 They could easily have. Just as we're not too far from the timeline where Trump got reelected and kept his promise to pull the US out of NATO. Hell, there's still a risk we get Trump (or someone just as evil, but smarter) in 2024 if people don't get out and vote.

It's important to remember that the Kremlin stories aren't told so that you'll believe them. They're told so that you'll be confused, unable to tell what the actual truth is, and be left with a vague impression of "both sides are as bad as each other".
