@tamagawa8227 You mean ccp's 100% of people voting for one is a better solution? Oh, wait...its not even the people voting. My bad 🤣
11
@doubleeffectsdnbhd4070 This is about china. Go post this where the video is about Gaza and Lebanon and you will get better responses.
11
@picanha694 that is a terrible analogy. Things are different now. Before, it was a top down government called monarchy and that is how society operated, at that time. Now, its mostly democracy and that is why society now is more willing to communicate and negotiate, etc. That is why Victor's remark of "It doesn't matter what the people in Taiwan want" is not only backward but also barbaric.
10
Proves how chauvinistic ccp is, and also notice how all the ccp-trolls in YT comment section also are?
10
@ZhangZhenru that is a terrible comparison. The South before was already part of the USA and they signed into the US Constitution. The ccp has no such document for Taiwan. It is actually the KMT that has the official ownership of Taiwan and all of China. The ccp stopped halfway and is just yelling the land belongs to them.
9
🤣🤣🤣
8
@DanBolton-my9bx it doesn't matter what it was before. The fact now it has people living on it, maintaining it, and governing it. One should stop looking at history and see what it is now.
8
@xxxxxx-pb2lw Taiwan: No, you tainted the word "Chinese", now we don't want to be called "Chinese"!
8
Taiwanese here loving fellow Taiwanese! Don't care who you voted for as long as you voted!
7
@shundi4264 so you need the entire world to tell you who you are? Are you that insecure?... Taiwan is a country. We know we are a country. We operate as a country. We rather maintain peace and stability in the regions for us and our neighbors. That is all that matters. ccp has no jurisdiction / authority in/over Taiwan. Period.
7
@MattC-zq7uk in this situation, the ccp should be compared to the South that instigated the civil war. The ccp started the civil war and the KMT lost. But its ok, because KMT went to Taiwan. KMT allowed Taiwan to become a democracy and now it is flourishing. Taiwan is not looking back and is looking forward.
6
@shundi4264 such ccp talk. Many in Taiwan DO NOT recognize China as including both mainland and Taiwan. Taiwanese now don't want to have anything to do with the ccp.
6
@MattC-zq7uk "Most people in Taiwan consider themselves Chinese.", said the ccp troll
6
ccp trolls be like "What? Really?!" 🤣
6
@shundi4264 that is incorrect, the majority is starting to want to be separate from the mainland because the ccp has tainted the word of being Chinese. The word Chinese now comes with all the negative connotations associated the ccp. Taiwanese want to stay away from it.
5
@shundi4264 Key phrase: "with a few exceptions". If you don't "pine for democracy" first, then you don't have your priorities straight. Just look at ccp, you might lose your house, be locked up in a pandemic which the government denies wrong-doing, bad economy no jobs. Yes, not all countries are ready for a democracy. Some democratic governments are so corrupt, they make the democratic system look bad. But when a country is ready, it can go to far. Taiwan is such an example.
5
@ericw127 unfortunately, Taiwan is starting to have it's own identity that is and will be vastly different from the CCP's China. It is inevitable. In the future, Taiwan will become an independent country while China mainland breaks down into smaller nations. Just like UK and EU.
4
@Eddie-cc6py sorry, I don't agree. Taiwanese are not Chinese. And Taiwan is definitely not in control by the ccp.
4
@SunYat-sen sorry, the people of Taiwan are not the Chinese the ccp defined. The ccp has tainted the word "Chinese" and Taiwanese do not want to be any part of it.
4
@Eddie-cc6py of course it is up to the people of Taiwan. It is governed by its own government. The people of Taiwan votes for the government, and the government represents the people.
4
@MattC-zq7uk oh, I admit defeat. Can't win when someone starts citing history from ccp history books🤣
4
@MovieMovie-t9o Again, ccp has no jurisdiction/authority here. Taiwan is a free country that other like-minded countries like to cooperate with for mutual benefit.
4
@shundi4264 ccp has no jurisdiction / authority over Taiwan. Look up the word "country" in a dictionary. of course, I don't speak for all the people in Taiwan, that is ccp mentality. I speak WITH all the people in Taiwan.
4
@shundi4264 Much to learn, you still have, my young Padawan. The path to acceptance is not an easy one.
4
you can see how evil ccp is because how dismissive the diplomat can be on such an issue.
4
@SunYat-sen I don't think ccp understands what is sarcasm 🤣
4
@Mickimoss yes, strangely enough many pro-ccp comments stay but anything criticizes is erased. I tested it.
4
@adamweng9253 such an obvious comment from a ccp troll. In western democracies, you OWN the LAND the house IS ON. So if a person finds "fossil oil" as you put it in their land, the company digging it would have to get permission from the land owner first, and pay the land owner a royalty of some sort from the income from the oil.
4
@DANWANG-ye9cq ccp adding to their X-mas wish list...but got denied!🤣
3
@TheKkpop1 Ccp only went from extreme poverty to poverty of over 600 million whose monthly income is bare US$140 A MONTH. you must be a ccp princeling.
3
wow, ccp trolls sure have glass hearts 🤣
3
@shundi4264 "History has proven that creating division and confrontation is unpopular." - tell that to the ccp
3
@shundi4264 "Having a goverment you do not like does not equal "failed state."" - no argument against that. At least you admit you don't like ccp either.
3
@Nash-NYC This must be a ccp troll right? Taiwan has its own central government and military. It does international trade with other countries as an independent entity.
3
@Nash-NYC Taiwan is satisfied with maintaining the status quote of regional stability and peach in the Taiwanese Strait. The economy is doing great, everybody is happy. Taiwan does not go around blaring to other's what does not belong to Taiwan, unlike the ccp.
3
@Nash-NYC Your opinion is incorrect. You failed to state that the ccp stopped right before Kinmen and stayed on the mainland. The ccp never had Taiwan, it always had been under the control of the KMT. The ccp is just claiming what does not belong to them, and you are just their mouth piece reciting their rhetoric.
3
@DANWANG-ye9cq No, its ok. You ccp can keep mainland. Taiwan don't want to clean up the mess you guys made 🤣🤣
3
@MattC-zq7uk Taiwanese are free to vote for anyone they want. If DPP gets too corrupted, even I will vote some other party. But too bad can't do that in China...just have to stick with the gutter oil, and tofu-dreg
3
@DANWANG-ye9cq wow, paper ccp tigers roaring on YT comment section. Changing the world now aren't you?
3
@DanBolton-my9bx And you the phd in history? Which history? Written by wuMao 🤣? Respect by authoritah!! 🤣🤣
3
@MattC-zq7uk Thats because the people are starting to rise. Its all going down in under 10 yrs...
3
@MattC-zq7uk Taiwan is ranked the highest in freedom across the board in Asia. Why in the world would Taiwanese give up their freedom to support a government that takes freedom away? Are Taiwanese into self-mutilation or something? Taiwan is ranked the highest in happiness IN ASIA. Why would Taiwanese want to give that away for tofu-dreg, gutter oil, sewage and drinking water in the same delivery truck government?? Is THAT your LOGIC?
3
@MattC-zq7uk No, your ccp history book is different from the history books I studied, to which I guess you'll start to criticize. There is nothing wrong with comic books. Why are you critical of pop culture? Do you think it is derogatory because it takes creativity and is usually related to youths? Does ccp look down on their youths? Is that why their unemployment rate is above 20%?
3
@MattC-zq7uk It's very obvious you must be a ccp princeling. Well-versed in Western education, but seems you only studied superficially and not intricately understand how democracies work, and the result with multiple candidacies. Only people from authoritarian countries will interpret the voting result as you do. It's impossible to convince someone something they have never seen before.
3
@FellaLau-wh4dr Actually if you see his other shows, he is like that to all the guests. Thats why its title "Head to Head"
3
@xxxxxx-pb2lw Other countries: I thought you are chinese? Taiwan: No, that's my neighbor. Other countries (eye roll): Oh, that one...the one that keeps yelling to everyone you are his'/her's? That is just creepy. Taiwan: Tell me about it...(sighs) ASEAN: And also pointing to my land and sea and is saying is his'/her's...what an @hole!
3
@David_Lo_Pan some replies to the wumaos were not displayed or doesn't show, right? mine too. They are practicing ccp censorship on YT🤣
3
countries and their cultural exports: Japan: Anime (ultra cool) S. Korea: K Pop (ultra cool) CCP: Tofu dregs, gutter oil, repeat "One China policy. period." like a broken robot. (ultra NOT cool)
3
@IamHandsome4u actually protesting is a legitimate form of reaction against a government. Of course damaging public property does not always come along with protests so there is no need to put an "and" with protest and damaging public properties together. In fact, many protests are peaceful and extremely effective.
3
@IamHandsome4u maybe the Chinese can try peaceful protesting in ccp land. Not all protests are violent or ends in violence.
